PgHero #

PgHero provides database insights and monitoring for our Aurora PostgreSQL databases. Access is restricted via Cloudflare Zero Trust.

Environments & URLs #

• Staging: PgHero Staging
• Production: PgHero Production

Access Requirements #

• You must be logged in to Cloudflare Zero Trust to access PgHero.
• Currently, only Aurora PostgreSQL Primary instances (the writer node) are available. Reader instances will be supported later with different endpoints.

PgHero Usage #

PgHero provides several key features for monitoring and optimizing database performance:

• Queries: View historical query performance to identify slow or resource-intensive queries.
• Live Queries: Monitor currently running queries in real time to detect performance bottlenecks.
• Space and Index Usage: Analyze table space, index usage, and potential bloat to optimize database storage and performance.

Note: The current PgHero endpoints display information only for the writer (primary) instance. Support for reader instances will be added in a future update with separate endpoints.
